It was a very fast and chill summer break! Sigh it is 6 in the morning and we are leaving back to So Cal in 6 hour ish. I am bittersweet about it! :( Going to miss being at home and just relaxing! I am waiting for laundry so I shall try to write a blog hehe but it will probably be boring!
We drove back Saturday Night and it was the scariest trip I’ve ever driven through!! There were lightening every 2 minutes and the sky just kept flashing and everytime I see lightening I jumped! I was so nervous the whole time! I kept feeling like we were going to die hahah but when we looked up on google, it said “Safest place to be at in a thunderstorm: your car” LOL. Then it started freaking POURING! Literally!! And my windshield wipers were failing on me, for some reason MY side of the mirror was blurry and I couldn’t see so I literally had to drive blindly and listen to Jennifer direct me! It was so scary, we made so many stops to find a store with rain repellent!!! And when me and Jen went into a gas station the power went off, and like there were some sketch ass guys in there! We could tell the cashier was terrified haha she could’ve been robbed! But luckily the power went back on right away!! And the whole time we kept running to and from our cars in the crazy shower, I was just like fuuuuuck my life!!!!!! It really felt like the world was ending and we were in a movie haha we had to park the car under a gas station that had no power and wipe down my windshield and everytime I heard or saw lightening I ran into my car. Sigh never again..
Sunday—Went to OSCARS!
Monday-Woke uppp, went to the optometrist and got my eyes checked, picked up Jen and ate out at Wing Stop. Then last minute decided to visit my friend Christine at the nail salon in Modesto! :) She did our naiiiiils and then we went to the new Forever 21, and it was sooo amazing! I think we spent like almost 2 hours there!
Tuesday—Woke up, got ready, went to Jen’s, played and took care of the babiessssss. Then we went to Tap Ex for a roadtrip snack! Had to drop off house keys for her pledge sisters but decided to make a fun trip out of it! We drove to Berkeley, had lunch with Thanh at a Laos place and to do a quick visit! Drove to San Francisco after and did quick shopping at Union Square! Drove back to Berkeley, then dropped off Thanh and then drove to San Jose to meet up with pledge sisters Liz and Trina. Ate 50 cent wings, went to get boba, went bowling and bowled 2 vs 2 and me and Jen ended up winning hahaha it was so funny and competitive!! Ended up leaving San Jose so much later than planned, and freaking Jennifer slept the whole way back! But it was a fun summer night :)
Wednesday—Woke up late, I always oversleep during summer lol, picked up Jen, went to go get boba and then we drove to Davis. I forgot what we did but ended up getting to Davis at like 6 so sun tanning was like such a FAIL! We even drove hella far just to pick up a bikini from her sister! LOL met up with everyone at Mimi’s apartment and didn’t get to tan :(, just watched Sandhya and Jow swim! Got to see Mimi’s new place, it’s soo cute! Then we all decided to go eat Hawaiian BBQ, it was a cute little dinner we all had hahah. Then drove back to Sac later on the night
Thursday—Wokeee up, picked up Jen, ran errands, bought hair dye, stocked up on professional shampoos/conditioners at the cosmetology store. Everything is soooo cheap cause of Kathy hehe. Even bought OPI nail polish for $4! & deep conditioner that is originally 40 dollars, was only 16! and HAHAHAH I walked a bit too far to a silver car thinking it was mine and coincidentally the doors were unlocked and Jen and Kathy opened the doors and sat in..and Kathy noticed ALL our hair supplies were GONE so she started to freak out and was like wait this is your car right? And I was like DUH! And as i was walking around my car I looked at the brand and it was NOT my rented Nissan Altima! IT was a freaking CAMRY and I was like OMG this isn’t my car!!! And started running and they got out hella fast and started running!!! WE WERE SO WEAK and ROFL LOL can’t believe that happened!! We later ate at Lollibowl and then went to Arden Mall really quick. Dropped off Kathy at her bestfriend Lien’s salon to get her hair done, then we went back to Jen’s house. Lounged, and then went to Kathy’s house and ate dinner, cleaned, then dyed our hair. Finalllly got rid of those nasty rooots!
Friday—Woke up, bought Happy Meals and brought it over to Aiden and Lincoln! Hehe they were soooo adorable!! Then me and Jen drove to Roseville mall and bought undiesss from aerie, bought our bandeaus for Nocturnal, ate Mongolian BBQ. Went to Kathy’s house so she can finish up her hair. Bought our backstage passes for ISA! Then we got readyyyy to go karaoke with everyone. Tried on our rave outfits lol and decided to go running the next day to get toned for it! But failed hahah. Killed time at the empty house and then we left to get alcohol at Foods Co! Jennifer made me try my fake ID for the first time and I was so nervous!! But I can’t believe I passssed! Then we made it just in time before it closed for boba hehe, went to the bathroom, left her with my card and I was like get me almond milk tea and she ended up ordering chicken too! -__/) & then drove to karaoke and met up with everyone! Drank, sangggg, and ate after. It was a good girls night out + Le :).
Saturday—Woke up, got my front windows tinted, came home, almost fell back asleep but luckily my phone wasn’t on silent again hahah. Showered, got ready, Jessica walked to my house and then went to go pick up Jen and went to get boba. And then we went to get Vietnamese Egg Sandwiches! So bombb! Went back to Jen’s house and ate it, hit food coma and we took napss. Woke up and we drove her brother’s girlfriend to buy crawdads and stopped by McDonalds. Started prepping for it! And had a feast, never ate so many crawdads in my life! But I am still in love with shrimp forever and always! Cleaned up, and last minute decided to go to the Casino at midnight :( so bad. Stopped by the liquor store to buy alcohol and literally drank on the car ride there! I haven’t drank Vodka in so longggg it was so gross! It was not the same as Barona, snifff. Came home around 5AM D:
And that, I can’t believe summer is over!!! But can’t wait for October! Even though it is going to be sooo tiring I am excited! Nocturnal, ISA, VEGAS Trip, Monster, Disneyland, Rush, and eeeetc!
